The V8-powered 2015 Lexus RC F hit the world market at just the right time to compete against the new BMW M4 at a base price of $63k. Both share a RWD 400hp+ performance backbone with premium interior and clean styling. For SEMA 2014, Gordon Ting of Beyond Marketing in Los Angeles unveiled a modified variant of this latest Lexus offering.

Phil Chase, RC F builder, says, "The Gordon Ting / Beyond Marketing Lexus RC F was designed with enhanced performance in mind. Our goal was the perfect luxury sport coupe, ready with brute power and aggressive styling."

To improve the stock 5.0L V8, claimed to produce 467hp and 389 ft-lb of torque, a full GReddy exhaust and 100-shot wet nitrous system was added. Handling suspension are Tein coilovers and EDFC Active Pro damping force controller, which automatically adjusts shock setting based on vehicle speed.

Stopping power is now handled by large 405mm Brembo 6-piston brakes that cut weight and are 25mm larger than OEM. 20" Yokohama Advan AVS F50 wheels are found on the left while Advan GT wheels are found on the right side.

An Evasive Motorsports front lip and carbon fiber side diffuser make for a badass look that falls in line with the comfortable performance theme found within the cockpit. Finally, carbon fiber reclining Sparco seats wrapped in leather and suede reduce weight while adding occupant support.

Chase completed the Lexus RC F build just before SEMA so it has yet to see any real street time. We can't wait to see this build in motion and performance tested.
